Located only 3 km far from Amalfi town, stands Villa Donna Rachele, a jewel nestled between the granite rocks and the Mediterranean scrub. The recently built villa boasts essential, refined and valuable interiors. The outdoor area, furnished with a Jacuzzi, BBQ and garden lounge are the pride of the villa. The location is quiet and panoramic. To get to the villa it is necessary to walk down about 90 comfortable private steps. A private parking spot (open-air) is available for the guests of the villa. We do recommended to reach us by car.
The villa is organised over two floors:
GARDEN AREA:
• Sea view garden, furnished with hydromassage Jacuzzi - Heated (seasonal opening);
• Sea view terrace, furnished with BBQ and garden furniture.
VILLA:
• Terrace overlooking the garden, furnished with a table for outdoor dining;
• Mediterranean living room with access to the front terrace, furnished with sofa with peninsula;
• Kitchen, open to the living room, with large window overlooking the sea, fully equipped and a table for six;
• 2 double bedrooms (bed sizes 160x190) with balcony overlooking the sea;
• 1 double bedroom with private terrace and en-suite bathroom with emotional shower;
• 2 bathrooms with emotional shower.

The house was clean and looked new. The views from the yard were lovely and the space was great for our group of five adults. The only downside is the location is really only accessible by car/bus and it’s not close to any major town by foot. We had see more

The only downside is the location is really only accessible by car/bus and it’s not close to any major town by foot. We had to use our rental car to get places every day, and driving/parking in Amalfi is not easycheap when spending a whole day somewhere. There is the bus but we didn’t want to deal with the stops and swarms of people in town trying to get on the bus when you just want to get home. The parking spot is also tiny and in the edge of the cliff, so someone had to get out of the car every time to watch the driver and make sure he didn’t scratch the side. Otherwise the house itself was nice and the host was friendly and responsive if we had questions.

We really enjoyed our vacation in Villa Dana Rochelle in Amalfi. We came from Naples by a Taxi which was arranged by the property manager and was of extreme convenient for us. We enjoyed the property which has all the amenities for our convenience.

The internet connection was strong and reliable, which was a pleasant surprise given the remote location. Francesco and his team is very responsive and helpful throughout our whole stay. One caveat that visitors should be aware is that place while close to a bus stop, the buses tend to be full and may not stop for you. And buses don’t come frequently enough so don’t count on it as a way to get places. Francesco helped us arranged car service in a pinch when we got stranded by the bus which was so helpful. Other days we walked to Amalfi - it’s actually a really beautiful and easy walk towards town.

The place is amazing! However, there are many many stairs so I don’t recommend it for anyone who has leg issues / doesn’t want to haul their luggage down/up 70+ stairs. The only other issue is that the area is not walkable - meaning once you head bacsee more

The only other issue is that the area is not walkable - meaning once you head back home for the night, there won’t be any food you can go out to get at night / get delivery. The final thing (again not related to the place itself) is that the ALL taxis are scammers in Amalfi - they will charge you 40 euro + to go back up to the place (it’s a 9 minute ride) - important to use the bus as much as possible to save money.

wir waren nun 7 Tage in dieser super tollen Villa Donna Rachele über SMAAC - Amalfi Coast gebucht. zum Service von SMAAC - Amalfi Coast Agentur -> 10 von 10 Check-In war professionell und lief alles reibungslos in den 7 Urlaubstagen hatten wir jeden 2 Tag eine WhatsApp ob alles in Ordnung ist oder Hilfe benötigen. Da kümmert sich wirklich jemand um Dich. Wir hatten am dritten Tag ein Warmwasser Problem, eine einzige WhatsApp und Problem war umgehend gelöst. Wir haben uns sicher und bestens betreut gefühlt. Check-Out auch wie gedacht alles reibungslos. Top ein großes Dankeschön an SMAAC - Amalfi Coast zum Anwesen -> 10 von 10 sehr gepflegt und eine wunderschöne, besser gesagt atemberaubende Aussicht über Amalfi's Landschaft bis zum offene Meer. Einfach traumhaft! Die Villa ist top modern und technisch auf extrem hohes Niveau. Geräte 1a wie, Induktionsherd, Mikrowelle, Backofen, Geschirrspüler, Kühlschrank mit grossem Gefrierschrank, Abzug und top ausgestattet mit Teller, Tassen, Gläser, Moccakocher einfach alles was das Herz begehrt. Alle Zimmer sind mit eigene Klimaanlage ausgestattet, einzel elektronisch bedienbar und grossen 42" LCD TV auch die Küche. Die Villa ist ausgestattet natürlich mit Waschmaschine und Tumbler. Total sind es 3 grosse Schlafzimmer und 3 grosse Badezimmer. Ein Schlafzimmer davon sogar mit eigenem Badezimmer mit Regendusche. Weiter hat die Villa noch 2 Badezimmer ein's eher Standard mittelgross aber top modern und das noch grössere Bad sogar mit Massagedusche, Wasserfall, Regendusche und doppel Lavabo. Die Schlafzimmer sind ein Traum mit hammer Aussicht und Ambientebeleuchtung und extrem viele Lichtschalter die alle eigene Funktionen haben. Also besser als bei uns in der Schweiz ausgestattet! Alle Türen in der Wohnung sind Schalltüren und top Modern Gartenlandschaft ist traumhaft, atemberaubend, mit Whirlpool und Doppelduschen ausgestattet. Der Whirlpool ist mit allen Massagefunktionen und Therapielichter in allen möglichen Farben ausgestattet. Wir werden die Villa definitive wieder Mieten wenn wir dort in den Urlaub gehen |

Wir brauchten diese gleich als Tagestraining um das sensationelle Essen in den verschiedenen Restaurant ab zu Trainieren. Für ältere Leute oder Menschen mit Gehbehinderung sehr schwer zu erreichen. Mir brannten die Oberschenkel jedes mal. 😉 vor allem das Tragen der Koffer beim Ferienstart ging es noch gerade noch aber beim Ferienende wow da bleib sogar mir die Puste weg und bin nicht schlecht Trainiert. Also achtet darauf bei der Wahl. Wenn die Treppen kein Hindernis ist, gibt es nichts schöneres!!! |

Die Lage und alle Annehmlichkeiten des Hauses, alle Gäste müssen alle Annehmlichkeiten haben und keine Gedanken während des Urlaubs, auch wir wählen sorgfältig alle Einrichtungen, die hohe Standards für unsere Gäste erfüllen müssen. Die Treppen, sind der schwache Punkt, aber auch die Stärke der Amalfiküste, ermöglichen atemberaubende Ausblicke zu erreichen, deshalb wird in der Beschreibung darauf hingewiesen. Hay que tener en cuenta que para llegar hay una escalera de unos 100 escalones, pero es una caracteristica de la zona. El unico inconveniente que tuvimos fue que el agua caliente de la ducha no llegaba a tener una temperatura de confort, pero todo muy bien, es un lugar para repetir.
